The following transactions and activities must post and settle to your Community Checking account during each monthly dividend period:
- At least 7 debit card purchases
 - Be enrolled to receive e-Statements
 - At least 1 direct deposit of $50 or more

Rate information: Community Checking tiered rates will be determined by the Intrepid Credit Union Board of Directors and adjusted as needed to maintain a competitive rate for our members.
Compounding and Crediting: Dividends will be calculated every day. Dividends will be credited to your account on the last day of the month.
Dividend rates are based on the following tier minimums:
- Tier 1 - $0 to $4999.99
 - Tier 2 - $5,000.00 to $9999.99
 - Tier 3 - $10,000.00 to $14,999.99
 - Tier 4 - $15,000 or more

Dividend period: For this account type, the dividend period is monthly, for example, the beginning date of the first dividend period of the calendar year is January 1, and the ending date of such dividend period is January 31. All other dividend periods follow this same pattern of dates. The dividend declaration date follows the ending date of a dividend period, and for the example above is February 1. If you close your account before dividends are paid, you will not receive the accrued dividends.
Daily balance computation method: Dividends are calculated by the daily balance method which applies a daily periodic rate to the ending balance in the account each day.
Accrual of dividends on noncash deposits: Dividends will begin to accrue on the business day you place noncash items (for example, checks) to your account.
Account Qualifications: To earn the Base Dividend, the following transactions and activities in your Community Checking must occur during the dividend period:
- Minimum of 7 PIN-based or signature-based debit card purchases post and settle during the Monthly Dividend Period.
- Transactions bundled together by merchants and received by our institution as a single transaction count as a single transaction for the purpose of earning account rewards.

 - Transactions and activities may take one (1) or more Business days from the date the transaction or activity occurred to post and settle to the account.
 - Minimum of 1 direct deposit of $50 or more during the Monthly Dividend period.

The following activities do not count toward earning account rewards:
- ATM-processed transactions or ATM transfers between accounts.
